Meet Jaxon - OH
Hi, my name’s Jaxon, I am a male bichon born in 1998. I weigh a trim 16 pounds. I can be adopted for the Senior Dog Rate of $75.00
My owner died and her family wanted me put down. However, a friend of the family found out about SPR and saved me. Because I miss my Mom, I do have some separation anxiety, so I would prefer an owner who doesn't have to be gone a lot. But, when you have to be gone, it is best to crate me so I don't look all over the house to see where you have gone.
I'm house broken and will try to signal you with a lifted paw when I want to go out, but just to be on the safe side, I don't mind wearing a belly band, as sometimes I will mark indoors. I get along well with other small dogs and ignore the family cats. I'm fine with children aged 3 and over, especially if they play gently with me.
Now, I have to warn you; I can be a rascal! If you leave food or a drink on a table I can reach, I'll have it gone before you can turn around. Actually, my favorite is caramel latte in case you wanted to know.
My greatest desire is to just be near my owner. At night I'll keep you warm and during the day I'll follow you everywhere. My greatest joy is to just be in your lap. So, if you are in need of some snuggling and loving, I'm your guy.
