Meet Cosette

This dark, shy gal is easy to overlook in her cage. Right now, she prefers to observe the world from a distance. We don’t know what Cosette experienced before arriving at the ARL, but it’s made her unsure about things. Now that we’ve gotten to know her, we are sure that this shyness will be overcome once she’s settled in a new home and has gotten to know her new family. She loves her exercise time, once we convince to come out of her cage. She doesn’t mind being held, but like most rabbits, she prefers to keep her paws on the floor. Sit down on the floor and be still for a few minutes, and she’ll hop over and settle down for some attention on her own terms. There is a precious gem of a personality hiding under her timid stare. Stop by and say hello to her on your next trip to the shelter. You’ll fall in love with her sweet spirit just as we have!

Rabbits are very social animals so our rabbits are available as "house rabbits" only.
All of our rabbits are spayed/neutered before adoption and have begun their litter box training.
