Dean (VA) Japanese Chin Paicines, CA

Dean is 3 years old, red and white, and weighs 17.5 lbs. Shy at first he opens to become quite the involved, attentive and loving family man.
Dean uses the doggy door and is house broken. Crate trained, but in his foster home he sleeps in a doggie bed with his blankie. In his previous life Dean had little exposure to the outside world or people. He is coming out of his shell and making good progress, but Dean needs to be placed in a home where his foster mom or dad is around most of the day, or with another dog to keep him company. He would most likely not do as well in a home where he is left by himself for long periods of time.
In foster care Dean has learned to love life and the world he lives in. Dean has found that great outdoors really is great, going on walks is really quite nice, car rides are great fun, treats and Greenie dental bones are yummy, and the folks at the vet's office are ok folks after all and really his friends. Dean’s two favorite things in life are cuddling while being loved on by his foster mom and playing with toys. Dean loves to cuddle up next to or on a lap where he will gently place his front paw on your arm asking for more loving. Dean LOVES TO PLAY WITH TOYS; 6 or 8 out at one time and will roll over on his back and juggle a toy with his front paws he is quite the clown and is comical to watch!
Dean gets along great with his foster Chin brothers and sisters and even coexists quite nicely with the cat.
