Rose Border Collie & Labrador Retriever Mix Paris, KY

Meet Rose! She is around 2 yrs old (as of 2/1) and is a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever mix. She is a pretty girl who is mostly black with a few splashes of white. She weighs about 55 lbs. She did recently have puppies (something that is going to happen for a non-spayed female that is not contained in a yard). She was found by a person who kept her for a couple months, but not in a fenced yard. The neighbors complained about her roaming around the neighborhood, so she is with us now and looking for a home. Rose can be wary of strangers, but once she knows you are a friend, she becomes a very affectionate dog and will give you kisses. She loves being with the people she knows and won't tire of getting attention. She is eager to please you. The people who brought her in indicated that she is good with kids, but can be picky about her doggie friends. We have her kenneled with a male dog and she gets along fine with him. She has a moderate activity level and will enjoy having some regular exercise. She is tolerant and did well with her temperament test. We can take food from her without any issues and she is gentle when taking a treat. Rose is a charming girl and will be a devoted companion.
