Petunia - MN Bichon Frise & Maltese Mix St. Paul, MN

Petunia is a female,Bichon/maltese mix and was born July 4, 1997. She weighs approximately 16 pounds and can be adopted for the senior dog rate of $75.00. She is a friendly, gentle and affectionate girl. She was rescued because her owner could no longer take adequate care of her. Petunia is diabetic, but requires only two quick injections, in the morning and in the evening. She also has compromised eyesight due to age, but one would never know it once she gets the lay of the land. She is housetrained and is good while we're gone all day. She rides well in the car, barks occasionally, and likes to go for walks on a leash (although she can be a bit stubborn when she wants to stop along the way). She is willing to be crated at night as well. She does well with other dogs and people and children aged 10 and over ; not sure about cats. Petunia will need a home with another dog. She (adorably) stands up on her hind legs and waves her paws if she wants something. She likes to be with her person and be petted and loved. Petunia is being fostered in MN.
