Meet Dumpling & Opal
Dumpling is a fuzzy cute little back boy kitty. He is one of the most vocal boys we know when playing, sweetly chirping and trilling to his buddies as they chase each other and tussle. He is close to his buddy Opal (also a boy) - they can spend hours wrestling and chasing from one end of the house to the other. When not in play mode, he is a quiet kitty, with only the occasional meow to let you know he wants something.
Dumpling came from a feral colony and is still shy around people. When he is sleepy and especially when he is curled up with his buddies he will relax into being petted and purr for you. At night he sleeps on the bed with us and the other cats and is at his most affectionate. However, when he is revved up he prefers his independence. His adopters will have to work patiently to help him come to like human touch at all times. He may continue to be shy around strangers.
Being from a feral colony Dumpling likes other cats. He has bonded well with Opal and they love to curl up together when not playing. Their play would provide hours of entertainment! We would most like to adopt the pair together, but we will consider adopting him to a home with other cats as he is too social to adopt him as a solo cat.
Both are neutered, up to date on FVRCP, not micro chipped, and have very good scratching and litter box habits.
