Meet Chipper

Chipper has come a long way since December when he was surrendered to us. He is a happy, little boy that has relearned how to love and trust people. When he first came to us he did not like any humans, male or female. Now he fine with all women and most men. We do not recommend with any families with children due to his background. Chipper got his name from chirping when he gets excited. He is a little overweight currently and his coat is coming in beautifully. He trusts us 100% and when you meet him, do not be surprised that he will pay more attention to us then you. That will take time and patience from a new owner to earn his trust and love. We recommend if you are interested in Chipper that you make multiple visits to our facility in order to earn his trust. He is 4 years old, weighs about 85 pounds, current on all vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative. WE WILL ONLY ADOPT THESE TWO OLD ENGLISH TO FOLKS THAT KNOW THIS BREED AND HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW PHOTO'S AND MEDICAL HISTORY OF PAST OR PRESENT OLD ENGLISH DOGS YOU HAVE OWNED.

St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost.

In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of them and the safety of your children. Our dogs are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit Chipper please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 1-469-952-3332 or 1-972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE (not petfinder.com) at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete and then email it or fax it to us at 1-469-952-3331. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St. Cloud's rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud's Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. We require a home visit prior to all placements. There is a $300.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoor pets. Dogs cannot tolerate the extreme Texas weather conditions.
