COURTESY LISTING FOR NORTHWOODS ANIMAL SHELTER IN IRON RIVER, MI.
PLEASE CONTACT THEM FOR INFORMATION ON LOLA'S AVAILABILITY.
Hi,
My name is Lola, and I am half Chesapeake Retriever and half Lab. I have pretty Chessie eyes however. I am one and a half years old, and am spayed and current on my shots.
My owners didn't want to pay for my boo-boo to be fixed, so they told the vet to keep me. Now I need to have a new home of my own. Can you give me one of those?
I am house trained, but really need some help with leash walking and some socializing -you see, I am a bit timid, and going places and meeting all sorts of new people and things will help me with that. I don't think I was a favorite at my old home, so I need a lot of love also. I have been doing really well with other dogs and learning my commands to make me a better canine citizen.
Small children may frighten me, so I would like to be in an adult home-maybe one nice brother dog would be ok and help me to be a brave girl. I also bet I would be an excellent walking or running partner once I get this leash thing. (I am doing better with this)
I would love to have a new home by the time nice weather comes so I can walk and run with you.
Please call my friends at the vet clinic listed at the top if you think I could be your girl.
Thanks,
Lola
