Meet Chunks! He is a 2-yr-old German Shepherd mix. He was an owner-surrender due to a house fire. He is such a handsome boy. Chunks is a medium-sized dog with a moderate energy level. He is already trained and house broken. He really enjoys his walks. He gets along with other dogs, but he can be dominant. He would thrive in a home where he has a doggy buddy as he does tend to get bored being alone.

Chunks would require a fenced-in yard as he loves to be outside. Here is what his foster mom had to say about him, "Chunks is an amazing guy. He's a really mellow, easygoing dog–apart from a couple of nice long walks or jogging trips, all he really wants is to hang out quietly wherever he can be with his people (he's curled up by my feet under my desk as I type this). He's pretty indifferent to strangers, so you don't see the best part of his personality at adoption events, but he's loyal and attentive to the people he knows and loves. He'd love to follow you around the house all day if he could! He's also smart, responsive to correction, and easy to train. If you want a great companion and have the time to spend with him, Chunks could be a great fit for you!"
