Currently Living at: Temporary foster's.  She needs a permanent foster and a forever home!!

Dixie is a gorgeous 1 year old, 51.8 lbs Flat Coat/Labrador Retriever mix.  She has likely reached her adult size.  Dixie gets along great with other dogs, with cats, and with children, so she'd make a perfect addition to any family.  But she'd be perfectly happy being the center of attention, as well!  

Dixie is incredibly loving and friendly.  She has a great time romping around and playing.  Her tail never stops wagging.   She gives wonderful kisses and loves it when you super soft fur is stroked and scratched!  She is very well behaved, but needs work on her basic training.  She is very gentle taking treats from hands.  She has had no accidents at her foster's house!

Dixie would love to help you keep your new year's resolution of getting regular exercise.  She will make a terrific running or walking partner and keep you on track in the new year!!  She is also excellent at snuggling and will help keep your heating bills down by curling up next to you and keeping you warm.   She is hoping the new year brings her a home of her very own.  Will you make her dreams come true?

Like most shelter dogs, Dixie may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
