URGENT NEED OF A FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME

Annabelle was going to be shot by her owner because she
"wasn't working out" as a working dog.
Luckily for her, a neighbor intervened and took Annabelle.
They were unable to keep her because she was
"too big" though so they took her to a shelter.


Annabelle's date of birth is June 2008. She is underweight at 66 pounds.




UPDATE 2/7/11

Annabelle went to the vet and we got some great news. She is heartworm negative, healthy and now UTD on all shots. She will be spayed as soon as we can get her in.



Annabelle is fast becoming a volunteer favorite! She is a WONDERFUL dog and just blossomed after she left the kennel for her day trip to the vet. She did great riding in the vehicle back and forth to the vet and everyone in the vet's office loved her.


But she had to go back to the boarding kennel as we have no open foster homes. Annabelle is getting stressed at the boarding kennel and is in desperate need of a foster home or adoptive home. She was good with other dogs at the shelter, but at the kennel she is getting agitated with all of the barking and charging the gates when she is let out. She will need a securely fenced yard preferably 6 foot wood.

within appx 1,000 miles
