Zeta Border Collie Richmond, VA

Zeta went home with a wonderful family, she will have a Beagle and Chi for siblings and a wonderful Mom that enjoys training. She will even get a paw into agility!! 01/2011

Zeta is a beautiful smooth coated border collie, only about 7 months old, found wandering around a nursing home trying to climb into everyone's vehicle to go home with them. Zeta is all border collie, full of energy and drive, loves toys and playing with the other dogs. She is a total sweetheart and loves being with her people. She is still a puppy and very excitable, she can be a little mouthy sometimes so we would not recommend her for a family with children younger than 8 years old. She loves to herd but she is learning not to nip at heels, however, she does thoroughly enjoy going after the vacuum cleaner, broom or mop! She gets along well with other dogs, as for cats, she wants to play and would probably be fine with a dog savvy cat, but she will give chase if given the opportunity. Zeta is very bright and learns quickly, she is already crate trained and house broken. As with all puppies, Zeta will need continued training and socialization to be the best companion she can be. Zeta would be an excellent agility or sport dog prospect, and would be an excellent addition to an active family. Zeta is being fostered in Richmond, VA.





All ARCBCR dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventative, dewormed and on flea and tick preventative before going to their forever homes.
