Emma Adoption Pending! Dachshund & Corgi Mix Hewitt, NJ

Emma is a  shy, sweet lil girl. She trembles when you first enter the room and then she is a big kisser and a wiggle butt. She'll need time to acclimate and then we believe she will be good with a family, couple or single person. She plays nice with the doxie in the foster home even though she has about 8 or 10 pounds on her. Emma weighs about 20 or 25 pounds. Her color markings are striking. Her coat is kind of wiry yet soft. She is playful, walks well on a leash and is getting more accustomed to her crate now that she knows she won't be in it very long. She may not even need a crate but we are using one now for her own safety until  we get to know her better. Emma is quiet and is not a barker so she would make a great apartment dog! She will come out of her shell and be a great family member! 


 

 

Emma will be arriving to NJ from a high kill shelter in MO on 1/16/11

Please consider adoption first. Emma is one of the lucky ones who we were able to save before being euthanized only because of over crowding at the shelter.
