Zeke Doberman Pinscher Central City, KY

Zeke is a black and tan, 4 year old Doberman. He was a stray that came to us in November. He’s a very nice dog who is a little shy until he gets to know you. He's not a big fan of cats but will keep his distance if told to do so. Zeke wants to be with people. Walking on a leash is not a problem for this big guy and he will surprise you with his playfulness. He will sleep in a crate or anywhere you want him to. He will be fully house trained when he completes his training at Green River Correctional Complex.


*** AVAILABLE MARCH - APPLY NOW *** Zeke is a Death Row Dog, being trained in a prison training program at the Green River Correctional Complex, in Central City, KY. Dogs live in the cells with the trainers. Each dog is exposed to a 12-week, intense training program that is designed for the dog's unique behavior needs as well as basic obedience, house training, crate training, and of course, tricks. These dogs are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered microchipped, heartworm negative, treated for fleas, ticks and earmites, and temperament tested to know what situation the dog will fit most easily into. This dog will be given a Canine Good Citizen test prior to graduation. DRD dogs are very popular, be sure to apply early if you are interested in adopting.
