Watson Maltese Omaha, NE

Watson is a small dog with a large heart. He is a neutered male maltese, approximately 3-4 years old. Weighing in at about 6 pounds, he is a small guy. Watson gets along with dogs of various sizes, but doesn't allow them to push him around. He sleeps in his crate with no fuss, and he is working on entering on cue. Watson is housebroken, but he does not like the cold, so he needs a consistent schedule. He has learned to go up and down stairs with no gaps, and he does well walking on a loose leash. He loves to chew on Nylabones and rawhide bones, and he loves to get back scratches. Watson is a puppy mill survivor, so he is still timid about being held, but he quickly warms up and relaxes if you are patient and gentle with him. He loves daytime naps in a soft doggie bed (or a lap).


Suggested adoption donation for Watson is $350-400 and goes towards the high cost of veterinary care for all the dogs in our rescue.


Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs.


A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.
