This happy girl is Smiley!  Smiley is 1 year old lab mix who was found as a stray in the south.  Full grown she is only 25 pounds so would be great sized dog for an apartment or condo.  Smiley is active, but not hyper, loving to go for walks and playing with other dogs.  She also enjoys her chew toys!  She has been cat tested and ignores them, is crate trained and housebroken.  She is well socialized with men, women, and children as young as two.  Her ideal adopter would be an active family, couple, or single person that could take her on long walks/hikes and play with her.  She would also do well with another dog in the home, but it is not a requirement.  If you can give Smiley the loving home she deserves please apply for her now! We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.




Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
