Meet Cochran

This COCHRAN's Meet Your Match Feline-alityTM is SIDEKICK (Orange)

Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble but I'm no scaredy-cat either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.

Interesting Stuff About COCHRAN:
COCHRAN is a little over a year old and so far this little guy has had a rough life. He was found on the streets of Gresham roaming down a street named 'Cochran', ergo, he was named Cochran. His rescuers took him to Multnomah Shelter where he was cleaned up and fed. You see, when he was found he was dirty, underweight, and very lonely. Since his rescue, he has been eating well and loving on everyone. Cochran may still need a bit more fattening up but his life on the streets has not dampered his spirit. He is the biggest love bug ever. At one time, he was nicknamed 'Herbie' after the hit movie 'Herbie the Love Bug'!

Cochran has already won the hearts of many of CAT's volunteers and staff. One person described him as follows: "He can be quite shy until you start talking to him and then he turns into a complete love. So affectionate and people oriented. He has to help you with everything. Needs a home where he can get a lot of attention." Although, during his interview for Petfinder, Cochran did not seem to have a shy bone in his body. As soon as his cage was opened, he rushed up and gave a big Eskimo kiss. He then proceeded to give lots of love rubs while purring the entire time. Cochran is a gentle sort even when he reaches out to you he does not extract claws. His reach is merely to get your attention and hopefully entice you into offering him a few more pets. Cochran just seems to be so appreciative of being off the cold streets that he wants to love everyone. He is truly thirsty for the human touch.

The vet has given Cochran a perfect bill of health, claiming that "He is a nice boy that will be beautiful with some TLC." Cochran is long and lean (until he gains a few more pounds). He has mellow turquoise green eyes that are stand out against his orange/red'sh fur.

If cats dream then our guess is that Cochran would be dreaming of a home where he will never be cold or hungry again. He would be dreaming of a safe warm home with people that will make sure that he is never lonely again. Come adopt this little sweetie and make your home complete.
Cochran is waiting to meet you at the CAT Shelter in Sherwood. Come meet all the wonderful adoptable cats and kittens from Cat Adoption Team!
