This is the "famous" Brooklyn. Brooklyn is one of the dogs who was stolen from the shelter and through great teamwork was recovered and returned to us. His life has been a tough one so far, and could really use stable home and family to love him!

Brooklyn has the most unusual and striking markings. He is gorgeous! However, his career as a runway model has not taken off yet. Why not adopt the most beautiful dog in Westchester before he becomes a household name?! Brooklyn is young - just a little over a year old. He is good on a leash too. He know basic commands but could use a little practice. Dogs that look this handsome don't come along too often.

Brooklyn has been through more than one can imagine. Dumped at the
shelter, he was then one of the eight dogs stolen from Mt Vernon shelter.
Found weeks later tied up in an abandoned building skin and bones, he has
now returned to a life of safety, but imprisoned once again. He is part of
the shelters EZ halter training program and is now a well behaved gentleman
on the leash. He loves to play fetch and run!! He is absolutely gorgeous
and just adores people. He weighs approximately 60-70 pounds.


PROFESSIONAL EVALUATION: Strong dog; should not be with younger kids. Best with teenagers and adults. Knows basic commands. Something of a serious nature, and so would do well with a calm, consistent owner. No cats. Okay with some dogs - would be compatible with a calm, docile female dog.Food - strongly food motivated. Best with an experienced owner.
