Jackie-URGENT!! English Coonhound & Hound Mix Manistee, MI

UPDATE 02-14-11: Jackie has been at the shelter much too long! She is a high energy, nose-to-the-ground type girl and its really time for her to be in a home where she can go for walks in the woods, play some ball, run and chase a frisbee and just stay busy! She must literally be climbing the walls being confined to her tiny concrete kennel (she's been a resident at Homeward Bound since October). Please stop in and meet this sweet, spunky girl soon!





Jackie arrived at the shelter in mid to late October. She is around four years old and is the sweetest girl you will ever meet! True to her breed, she likes to keep her nose to the ground, and can travel like lightening! The perfect match for Jackie would be an experienced handler who would train her and let her enjoy the out-of-doors. Jackie has great instincts and can do the job! She would also keep you company after a day in the field and become your best buddy! Jackie is one high-energy girl and with the right person by her side, she will live life to the fullest and take you with her!

The adoption fee for a mixed breed, spayed or neutered dog is $125.00. The adoption fee for small/toy breed dogs and "designer" dogs is $150.00. The adoption fee for purebred dogs is $200.





The adoption fee for a puppy or dog that is NOT spayed or neutered is $75, plus a refundable $50 spay/neuter deposit (refunded upon proof from your vet that your new pet has been spayed or neutered in accordance with the spay/neuter contract).





Please note that we update petfinder once a week (usually on Sunday evenings). That means some of the pets we have listed may have already been adopted. That also means we almost always have other pets available that are not listed on petfinder yet.
