Aimee Samoyed Milwaukee, WI

Introducing the newest member of Playing Again Sams’ fostering group,  Aimee ( a French moniker, so named because she is so very amiable with everyone, especially other furkids) - Aimee was picked up as a stray in Minnesota, and PAS was contacted by the impound shelter because she was so sweet and they wanted her to have a second chance at at a forever home.  She is estimated by the vet to be around 7, and is quite spry, with plenty of energy.  As soon as she arrived in her foster home, she adapted well with the other three female samoyeds and the people.  She has an easygoing temperament, is generous with kisses, goes to the door when she wants to go potty, loves to go on walks, and only pulls ever so slightly, and stops when told.  She prefers companionship to being alone, but that could abate once she feels more secure in her environment. She’s in good shape and pretty strong, but could lose a couple of pounds.  She does not seem particularly food-driven, but enjoys certain treats (and not others)...she may have been fed people food in the past.  Drinks water eagerly, but doesn’t seem all that excessive.   Fortunately, she was not shaved at the shelter/vet clinic, and really she has a very nice coat, although badly matted.   We’re working on it day by day, and she is  becoming the beautiful swan.   This close up picture shows how lovely she looks, beautiful almond colored eyes.
