Hi, I'm Sammy! Some nice kids found me crying under a car on the street in front of their house. Their mom brought me inside and gave me plenty of food to eat and a nice bed to rest on. She says I must have been looking for food for a long time because I was so skinny. They were impressed with how nice and affectionate I am. They took me to the vet to make sure I was healthy and now they say I can stay with them until I find a home because I am so sweet.


The lady who lives here says I am an easy cat and she was proud of me for finding the litter box all by myself. I love to lie on the kitchen chair and watch the man who lives here cook. But I would much rather sit on the lady's lap when she is not busy. I love to snuggle with her and it makes me want to fall asleep!
I like the kids that live here, too. They pet me a lot and I like that! The baby tries to pet me sometimes and that's ok with me, too. The kids laugh with me when I do funny things, like sleep in the bathroom sink. I like to play with toys and sit in the window.


I don’t always like other cats. The ones that live here were not very nice to me at first and I was a afraid of them. They got used to me and now we can hang out together. Some of the dogs here are nosey and I don't like it when they sniff on me. They're big and it's scary! But there are a couple who are small, old and don't bother me, so I get to hang out with them. 


It's been nice to be inside a house again. I hope the lady and her friends at No More Homeless Pets KC can help me find a home where I can stay forever. Do you think that could be your home?
