Zoro Barker Shih Tzu Mix Houston, TX

Hi! My name is Zoro Barker and I am a black and white, male Shih Tzu. I am 7 years old and I entered the rescue in August 2010. Don't think that means I'm an old man though! I love to patrol the backyard and keep it safe from any squirrels that might venture into my territory. I also love to play with toys-the squeakier the better! I'm likely to take them to bed with me so I know right where they are.


My foster mom noticed pretty quickly that I am deaf. She's using hand signals with me and I'm catching on very quickly. It doesn't hurt that I watch my foster mom attentively. I'm so happy she's taking care of me. I also have a heart murmur. I take a pill every day and I'm doing great. It doesn't slow me down one bit.


I'm also doing great with the housetraining in my foster home. I'll have to used to your routine, but I definitely have the basics down.
