Meet Zena-Adopted!

Zena was found going back and forth between some abandoned houses last August. It was apparent that within the past couple months she’d had puppies but they were not with her. She is very sweet and well mannered at her foster home. Zena is a pretty easy going dog that has fit in very well with the other dogs and puppies. She is house trained and crate trained but is left out of the crate at night. She loves the outside and enjoys spending time in the yard when the weather is nice. She loves to chew but is doing well at learning her toys from the rest of the world. She loves Nyla bones and soft material toys. Zena does cuddle with the other dogs and loves for you to scratch and rub her. She is acts very puppy-ish as she loves to run and wrestle. Zena is basically a quiet dog that does not bark much inside but she will bark with the neighbor dogs. She has a calm attitude and does not usually join in the ruckus when someone comes to the door. She does get excited when you come home and wants to let you know how much she missed you. Zena weighs about 51 pounds. Birth date 8/27/09

Additional info on our home page.

Home FurEver is a non-profit foster based canine rescue seeking foster parents, volunteers and donations. Please see our website for more information.

Please note that Home FurEver does not post applications on line. We will receive all applications in person at local adoption events in order to conduct an in-person interview. All members of the household should be present for the application and interview process. All applicants require a home inspection - Please note that we cannot drive more than an hour to do a home inspection. We do require a fenced back yard for all bully breeds. Some dogs may require households with children over the age of 5.

Ask yourself some questions before you consider bringing a new dog home.

1. Am I ready for a LIFE LONG commitment?

2. Am I prepared for a roudy puppy?

3. Am I prepared to potty train?

4. Is this the right breed for me or my family?

5. Can I afford the food and vet care for this dog?
6. Is it best to have a totally fenced yard?

7. Will I make a commitment to obedience training?
