Alexandra *NEW Rottweiler Mix Monticello, NY

Alexandra came to us from the Hartford ACO and before that she was the companion of a homeless person. Alex is a 20 month old Rottweiler who is shy initially but after a few treats and some petting she’ll be your best friend! She loves to be close to you and just thrives on positive attention. In her foster home she has been exposed to multiple people and children ages 8-12 and has been great with all of them. She loves squeaky toys and will share them with her foster brother. With a little correction she has learned to walk nicely on a leash. She has had free roam of the house while her foster family has been gone for short periods of time and she has done very well, she also does great being crated while no one is home . Alex is very good with the male Rottie she shares her foster home with, however Alex would be too much for a small dog since she loves to play and may unintentionally hurt a small dog!
