Read about Arrow: Arrow had been left to fend for herself outdoors in a rather dangerous area for some time when eventually a compassionate soul took it upon themselves to see to it that she was secured into a rescue, which is where we came in.

After her evaluation, we realised Arrow must have at one time been in a "home" of some sort, as she was too friendly to have been feral her whole life, so we can only surmise that she was abandoned to life on the streets, which is no place for a cat.

Arrow is a very laid back and good-natured tortoiseshell who is not just sweet, but oh so gorgeous with her short-hair tortoiseshell coat pattern showing a rich combination of black, burnt sienna and ginger patches!

This little tortie enjoys a warm, cozy spot for napping, a few affectionate head rubs, some fresh food/water daily and to hear about your day. So you see, Arrow does not ask for much, knowing that it could have gone in a bad direction for her, and just giving those few basic things in life will truly make this sweetheart content and grateful to be a part of your life!

Arrow would probably do best as a single pet with possibly one other non intrusive cat in the home. She is really a darling cat, and if you are a lover of the tortoiseshell feline, don't look her over! She also has some rather amusing poses when it comes to camera time.

Arrow has passed a vet exam, is up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccinations, has been treated for any medical needs, given preventative treatment for internal parasites/fleas, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is litter-box trained and has been spayed. Now she just needs a forever home!

A husband, father, brother, friend, and neighbor who lives in our community, is in dire need of our immediate help! At the beginning of July 2010, Chris Blankinship, a trusted and caring volunteer with Catz Jazz Rescue, was diagnosed with an Anaplastic Astrocytoma (grade III). This is a rare (about 4% of the population), life-threatening, rapidly-growing, malignant tumor. Due to the nature of this specific tumor and it's location, the only available treatment possibilities are very limited clinical trials (experimental treatments) for chemo and radiation treatment possibilities that will easily exceed the tens of thousands of dollars mark. We believe that with prayers, positive energy and strong willpower, and the financial help from compassionate supporters who are sympathetic to his plight, we can give Chris a chance to opt for those treatment possibilities, but time is of the essence!
