American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier Mix: An adopted dog in Vancouver, BC

You gotta say Bud's name with a "long uuuuu" because it makes it all that much funnier! This charming, "always happy to see you" muscle boy is a big softy on the inside. Despite his athletic body, he is well mannered on leash, has basic command training already and is housebroken. He also serves as an excellent co-pilot and loves to go for car rides.

This breed is typically very loungey when inside, but athletic when outside and can join in any activities you might like to do. Bud is a total people dog, but he enjoys meeting and greeting with other dogs too. We've also done some preliminary testing with small animals, and it looks like Bud very potentially could live with a cat as well. Bud had already spent a few months at another small, quiet shelter, mostly inside a kennel, so he's really loving the play yards and all the walks he's now getting with our volunteers!
