If you ever thought of giving a senior dog a home this is the dog for you.



Meet Pugsley. He is a senior, 8 - 9 yr. old Pug mix and he weighs about 17 lbs. He is blind due to cataracts, but has a lot of spunk and gets around just fine once he figures everthing out. Pugsley is very well behaved and will come when called once he knows his way around. He is hesitant at first and will stop when he comes to a doorway or step as he can sense a change. He will procede once you guide him since he is so trusting. He loves people and is very happy just to be close to someone as it makes him feel more secure. He is very sweet and likes being held and pet. You just can't get more lovable than this. He will just melt your heart!


Pugsley is fine with other dogs, ok with strangers, not a barker and ok on a leash if he is close to you. He was one of over 40 dogs taken from a hoarder where the conditions were very bad. We do not know how he is with kids so caution is recommended. He sniffs after cats and barks at them but doesn't hurt them. This old boy deserves a safe, loving home to live out the rest of his precious life.

Pugsley is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative and on prevention. He has had a Senior Screen at the vet and all his tests came out fine and he has had a complete dental. He is on a special eye ointment to help keep his eyes from getting infected which will avoid eye surgery or having eye removal. He will need this medication for life. He also uses eye drops that can be purchased over the counter a few times a day.
