Shar Pei Mix: An adopted dog in Raleigh, NC
Baxter is a 2 year old Shar-pei mix that weighs approximately 55 pounds. He was rescued
from Orange Co Shelter after his owner had to surrender him due to lack of employment.
He came to his foster home fully house trained and already knew sit, stay, and down.
Since then, he has also learned how to leave it, crawl and roll over. Baxter is very smart
and loves to learn new things. He is very eager to please!
Baxter is full of love! In fact, he is so full of love that he has earned the nickname “love
muffin” by his foster parents. Baxter is great with other dogs, especially dogs his size
or larger. He is also great around children, but not so much with cats. It’s not that he
doesn’t like cats. In fact, it’s quite the opposite in that he really likes them too much.
