Hi, my name is Mercedes and I am approximately 8 yrs old. I arrived at the shelter when my owner no longer wanted to care for me, even though I wasn't much work, as I spent all my time tied outside to my doghouse. The shelter is looking for a special home for me as I am not a big fan of other dogs and would need to be the only animal in the household. Also I would not enjoy dog parks , just nice long walks with me and my owner is the right fit, but please don't judge me for my behavior because it's not my fault. My previous owner thought it was OK to breed me over and over again. So I prefer to be around people not dogs. I am super friendly, gentle, calm, and easy going girl who wouldn't be much work to care for. I absolutely LOVE attention from people and am hoping to find my forever home. Will you take me?
