Turbo Barker**ADOPTED** Shih Tzu Mix Houston, TX

Hi! I’m Turbo and I am a six-year-old, twelve-pound Shih Tzu. My foster mom says my name should be Precious because I have such a precious manner. I’ve been with my foster mom for two months and she says I have been the best little boy. Even her groomer said I was the best little fluff ball she had ever groomed. I sat so still for her and I have the cutest hair cut. I really am well behaved. My favorite activity is to sit quietly next to my foster mom while she works and occasionally nudge her for some ear rubs. She says I’m her little shadow because I follow her all over the house. I don’t like it when she leaves my sight. I absolutely have to sleep with her and I like to cuddle right next to her to keep her warm. And I have the most unusual (according to my foster mom) habit of sucking on pillows. I don’t chew! She would never allow that, but I do have a special pillow that I suck on like a baby with a pacifier. I’m a very calm boy except when I get a hold of my toys. Then I amuse myself greatly. I’ve just started playing with my foster siblings and I love to do the Shih Tzu 500 around the couch with my foster sister, Daisy. We can really tire ourselves out. My foster mom likes to watch and laugh at us, but that is okay because I like to see her laugh.



What else can I tell you about me? I’m relatively quiet. The only time I bark is if I think it is taking too long to fill up my bowl for dinner. I like to give my foster mom encouragement to hurry dinner along. I’m also house broken. I must have been before I came to Lone Star because it only took me a couple of weeks to work myself into my foster family’s schedule. I’ve been with Lone Star since Christmas 2009 and would love to spend this Christmas in my forever home. If you are interested in me, please contact my foster mom at parsley@tamu.edu.
