UPDATE: We are changing Zoey to being good with children because we have not seen one indication of her not being. Of course, as with all pets and kids limits do have to be set for both. Children need to know it is not alright to mistreat an animal by doing to them what they want. It is NOT OK to pull body parts, hit, sit, lay on them or tease them. Meet our girl Zoey! She is a 5 year old JRT, house broken, good with other dogs, likes to play with her toys but is not the hyper girl you think of when thinking about Jacks. Zoey came from a family who adopted her elsewhere about 10 months ago. She found herself in need of a new home because of not being good with all children...however, when we were at her house picking her up we watched as the young child hugged, pulled and tugged on her without so much as a warning look. Zoey came from a family who adopted her elsewhere about 10 months ago. She found herself in need of a new home because of not being good with all children...however, when we were at her house picking her up we watched as the young child hugged, pulled and tugged on her without so much as a warning look. Because we were told that there were times that Zoey was not good with outside of the family children we will be limiting (at least for now) her to older children only, and to a home where children know how to properly handle dogs. Zoey came to us with a severe UTI and is on her way to having that cleared up but she does have some on going skin itchies that we will be trying to figure out with the help of our vet. She likes to spend time in her crate, walks fairly well on lead and rides pretty good. Zoey is currently in foster care with two large resident dogs and her German Shepherd foster brother Sargent. If you've been looking for a sweet furry friend to add to your family Zoey just might be your girl!
