ESTRAYA IS NOW IN FOSTER CARE, PLEASE CALL THE SHELTER TO MEET HER. Estraya (Star in Spanish) is a 4 year old un-spayed female lab mix. She was turned in by her owner who can no longer care for her. Estraya has some basic obedience: sit, shake and lay down. She is good with other dogs, cats and older children. Estraya also loves to go for a ride and play fetch. She is also house trained. Estraya's spay and rabies vaccinations have been sponsored. You must be 18 years of age to adopt a dog from our shelter.
ADOPTION FEE: $23.50 for a spayed/neutered dog.
LICENSE FEE: if you are a resident of Meridian there is an additional charge of $16 for a tag of a spayed/neutered dog..
SPAY/NEUTER COST: we require all of our dogs to be neutered or spayed before going home with their new owners. The owner is responsible for the cost of the surgery. One of our volunteer transporters will take your new companion to Animal Healing Center or River City for altering within a few days of the adoption. The owner will need to call the vet chosen to verify when the dog will be ready to be picked up. The owner is responsible for the bill at that time. Our veterinarians require a rabies vaccination which is an additional charge.
