Otis is a gentle and friendly boy who was recently rescued from a puppy mill. His thick coat is a gorgeous solid chocolate color and he's approximately 5 years old. He loves people, enjoys being petted, and does well...

Otis is a gentle and friendly boy who was recently rescued from a puppy mill. His thick coat is a gorgeous solid chocolate color and he's approximately 5 years old. He loves people, enjoys being petted, and does well with other dogs. Otis rides well in the car and enjoys marrow bones. He is crate-trained. He is used to being crated for up to 3-4 hours during the day and at night, otherwise, he goes potty outside. With all rescue dogs, the key to house-breaking is consistency and diligence on the part of the dog owner.P>

Underdog Rescue animals are fostered in individual homes. While they are in our care, they are part of our families. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of their temperament and personality. All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as Solid Gold, Canidae, or Instinct pet food. Each is given lots of love. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves.
