Husky/Samoyed Mix: An adopted dog in Saskatoon, SK

Dakoda is a handsome Husky mix with something a little more fluffy and stocky like a Samoyed. He is approximately 4 years old and is neutered. He has recently had his annual shots. Dakoda is a calm dog who loves to be by your side and follows me from room to room in the house. Dakoda likes to play tug and is very good on a leash but we are working on passing by other dogs as he is very focused on them. He does make friends once introduced and plays and wrestles with my Husky. Dakoda knows basic commands such as sit, lay down, shake a paw, etc. He is housetrained and crate trained. Dakoda is great company and deserves a home that will love and care for him.

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
