American Shorthair/Tabby - Grey Mix: An adopted cat in Colmar, PA
Pounce was born in September 2003, and was adopted as a kitten from Stray Cat Blues. In July 2010, her adopters regrettably had to return her to SCB because of their son's allergies. Pounce is a very gentle cat. She loves being brushed. She is fine getting her nails trimmed. Pounce has a heart murmur and is on heart medication, but she is easy to pill as she has been taking this medication since she was a kitten. (This medication is very inexpensive at approximately $3/month.)
As anyone can imagine, the change of home at this point in her life is hard for her to understand. When she was first returned, Pounce just seemed sad and confused. But in less than a week in her foster home, she started showing her true personality. Pounce is very sweet and likes attention. She is learning to accept this change in circumstances and to take it in stride. She is ready for her next adventure.
