Chocolate Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog Mix: An adopted dog in Scotch Village, NS
Home for the Holidays! We really want Dixie to get her very own home for Christmas. For the month of December we are waiving her adoption fee.
Dixie was chained out in a back yard and being threatened with euthanasia and when ASDR took her in. She is an "honorary" small dog at 92lbs and actually thinks she's a lap dog. She's not fussy. In the chair or on the bed it's all the same to her. She loves to snuggle!
Dixie is an energetic young girl who loves to play catch. She loves to be with people and is good with other dogs and cats. Her foster mom recently took her roller-blading! WHAT FUN! Although she loves to play and have fun, she also settles very well in the house. She is a goofy, clumsy bundle of love who loves to be told she's a good dog. She learns commands quickly and is very in-tune with her humans.
Dixie is a little shy with strangers but warms up...
