Pit Bull Terrier/Basset Hound Mix: An adopted dog in Chicago, IL
This little nugget is truly a one of a kind dog... He stands low to the ground with his basset hound body and legs, has the head and face of a pitbull, and the coloring and eyes of a weimeraner. They really don't come much cuter than Joe!
He LOVES to get out and about and meet people. He wiggles his whole body with gusto for every passing stranger and lavishes kisses on anyone that offers him a head scratch. He also loves to play with other dogs, and has a special fondness for kids.
Joe came to us after he was shot for wandering into someone's yard. Luckily, Joe's wounds have healed up and he bears no grudges. As far as he is concerned, the future is big and bright! Now he just needs a human to enjoy it with. Could you be the lucky one?
Joe is crate-trained, walks well on leash, neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations and all around awesome! We've even had our vet examine his funny looking...
