Weimaraner Mix: An adopted dog in Fredericktown, OH

Hello my name is Ilsa. I am a four year old pure breed with eight three week old puppies, five boys and three girls. When they get closer to eight weeks old they will post them separately with their very own names and will try to to post new pictures every week so we can all watch them grow. Read the notes from my foster mom below. Mom and pups went for their first check up on 7/13 and we were told Ilsa has heartworm. We have just five weeks to raise the money for this very expensive treatment. At that time the pups will be weaned and she will need to be treated for heartworm. She is great with basic commands like sit, stay, down, and come. She is also a great mother!! Her owner put her and her eight puppies in the night drop box at a high kill shelter in Jackson county, Ohio. Then someone else bought in seven more puppies and put them in the drop box and Ilsa fed (letting them nurse too!) and took care of these puppies until...
