Pointer/English Springer Spaniel Mix: An adopted dog in Amherst, NS

Jake is a German Pointer cross who came to us as a stray. He is approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years old, neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. Jake is a very high energy and excitable young boy who does walk well on a leash and shows great off-leash skills. He is excellent with other dogs, cats and older children. An active and experienced home is a must as Jake has no formal training, but has made positive progress with the help of shelter staff and volunteers. We are confident Jake will flourish in a home with a patient and confident owner who can give him the guidance he needs along with an active life-style he deserves
