They are 9 year old brothers although they can be placed in separate homes. INDOOR ONLY their whole life! Chase is a sweet, long-haired taupe colored kitty with striking gold eyes. His coloring is amazing. You have never seen such a gorgeous cat! He is very loving and enjoys his time with you so much he drools when getting the attention he loves.

His coloring is amazing. You have never seen such a gorgeous cat! He is very loving and enjoys his time with you so much he drools when getting the attention he loves.

Taylor is a lovely steel gray long-haired kitty who is a bit more independent. He appreciates attention and will give you kisses. He gets a little more nervous if approached too quickly or if there is a lot of activity. He is a big cat, too, with long fur. Both cats like to be held. Taylor, like most cats will let you know when he has had enough attention. Both cats are neutered.

Chase and Taylor are 100% indoor cats and are up-to-date on their FVRCP (distemper, etc.) and rabies vaccinations. They are housetrained, and because of their size and long fur, would benefit from large, uncovered litter boxes that give them room to turn around. They are on a regular diet of dry food and would benefit from a senior formula, even one such as IAMS or Purina One, which are reasonable in cost.

Their Story:They were in a home with their loving owner for their first four years. When their owner had to go into a nursing home where she could not take her cats, a family member stepped up to help care for them. For the next three years, a pet sitter went to the home daily to care for Chase and Taylor, feeding and watering them, brushing them and spending time with them. About 1 1/2 years ago, the cats were moved to a boarding facility where they lived in cages until about two weeks ago when they were moved to a veterinary clinic to be boarded. Despite all of this moving about and living in a cage, they have retained their wonderful personalities and are very loving and forgiving of their sad situation. Now, the caretaker has moved out of state and could not take the cats. Their owner, who had been in the skilled nursing facility, has since passed away. Their time is short unless we can find a home where these senior kitties can live out their lives. An indoor kitty can commonly live into their teens if taken care of properly. So, these boys potentially have many years left to give!

They are used to relatively quiet environments and will do well with adults but probably would be scared of small children and lots of activity. They haven't been around dogs aside from hearing them at the boarding kennel so we aren't sure how they would do. They would probably be okay if the dog was very cat-friendly and not very active. They have lovely long coats that benefit from regular brushing.
