Labrador Retriever/Border Collie Mix: An adopted dog in Hubbards, NS

Jem is a lovely 2.5 year old, spayed female. Her straight-forward and happy attitude make her a great companion. Jem is always looking forward to a game, food or a kind word. She is currently working on the transition from life as a farm dog to life as a pet. In many ways, she is already a star in this role. Jem is calm at home, well house-trained and behaves well in her crate. She is very attentive, very food motivated, and is quickly learning to walk with a head halter. She knows obedience basics such as sit, stay and come but still needs to work on reliable recall off leash. She is playful with other dogs and cats, but sometimes can show her dominance. Jem is certainly capable and deserving of being a loveable house pet! Due to Jems exhuberant nature, we will not consider her for a home with children under the age of 10.
