Meet BARLEY--Barley is a handsome 4 year old Goldendoodle in need of a new forever home. He is 75 lbs. with a soft fleece non-shedding, coat that will require grooming.

Barley is being re-homed because his family feels they can no longer provide him with the time and attention that he deserves. His owner says: "He is very smart, so sweet and so cute and he happens to love being groomed.

This adorable boy is a real snuggle bug and he absolutely LOVES attention. He is loving, well-mannered, devoted to his humans and friendly with everyone. He is GREAT with children of all ages being gentle, patient and tolerant and was raised with 2 girls ages 11 and 9. He knows all of his basic commands and he is a highly intelligent, food motivated, pleaser who would benefit from additional training.

Barley does have a strong personality and he will at times try to dominate our other dogs when outside of his living environment. Other than that he generally enjoys playing with them.

He can also be a counter-surfer and will get into food left on counters. Occassionally he will ingest things that are not edible such as socks or whatever is left in the bathroom garbage. He will need a watchful, patient, dog savvy home willing to keep an eye on him and work with him in regards to these behaviors.

Barley is great on a leash but he will not go to the bathroom when being walked. He was trained on an electric fence and is accustomed to having run of the yard and the freedom to do his business at his leisure. He is completely housetrained.

He can be very energetic so he will need plenty of exercise and room to run. He will require a fenced in yard for romping and playing and daily exercise.

Barley is great with children, is generally good other dogs but has not been exposed to cats. He is neutered and UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. Barley will be a wonderful addition to the right family.

A physical fence is required.
