Honey has an adoption pending. Honey is a very sweet 9 month-old pup who looks like a miniature Yellow Lab. She arrived at Canine Lifeline from a local county dog pound with a cherry eye which needs surgical correction. Her surgery is scheduled for July 21 at which time she'll also be spayed. Honey is a super-sweet girl who especially loves kids. She's very handshy and gets very nervous when you first put a leash on her as if someone in her past hit her or pulled her roughly by the collar. She warms up very quickly though if you're gentle with her and she loves to cuddle up for lots of hugs and kisses. She's very submissive and not the least bit aggressive when she's scared. Honey is a super-sweet girl who especially loves kids. She's also great with other dogs and cats too. When she's ready for adoption around the first of August, Honey's adoption fee will be $150. She will be spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up-do-date on vaccinations, and on Frontline Plus flea and tick preventative. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it's a great match before the adoption is finalized.
