Shepherd Mix: An adopted dog in Garfield Heights, OH
PATTY HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Patty is a very nice 5 year-old Shepherd mix female who came to Canine Lifeline from a very crowded rural county dog pound where her chances of adoption were very slim. She came into the pound as a stray but had clearly had a home recently as she's a chubby girl who was already spayed. Someone had been caring for her so it's a mystery why she ended up homeless. Patty currently weighs about 62 pounds but really needs to lose 10 pounds to be at her healthiest weight. When she came to us, she tested positive for heartwoms and underwent treatment in July. She came through it with no complications and has been waiting patiently for a home for some time now. Patty is a real sweetheart--good with other dogs and cats too. She's housetrained and is a really easy girl to have around. She would love a home where she could go for a walk everyday to help her get back into shape. Her adoption fee is $150....
