Meet Mandy
Courtesy Post
Mandy is in foster care for the Gallia County Animal Shelter and is awaiting a rescue commitment from a qualified rescue or an offer of permanent adoption. Pit bulls are difficult to place in the Gallipolis area, so she is seeking placement with a rescue in an area that can offer her a permanent home.
Mandy is about 2-3 years old; she was dumped in the shelter after having a litter of puppies. She is a American Staffordshire terrier; she is the size of a 15” beagle, and she weighs about 30 lbs. She is sweet, personable, friendly and would make an ideal family pet. She gets along well with other pets (dogs and cats) and she likes children and adults.
She has been spayed and received rabies and distemper vaccinations, and a heartworm test. Her pull fee and vetting is sponsored by her foster mom to a qualified rescue; an adoptive parent will be requested to reimburse $50 toward the cost of vetting Mandy, so the funds can be used to vet the next needy shelter animal. The foster mom can be reached by e-mailing CRAMSEY1@columbus.rr.com or by calling 614-268-6808 to arrange a meeting with Mandy.
