DeOGee-Adopted! Greyhound & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Bolton, CT

Adopted 10/17/10!



Update 10/2/10: Say hello to DeOGee. DeOGee's owner passed away and relatives could not take her in. She was going to be euthanized because she had no where to go. She is now under the care of Sadie Mae Foundation so that won't happen.



DeOGee is a sturdy, large 7 year old. She actually thinks she is a small lap dog. Silly girl!



DeOGee is the kind of dog who leans into you and just wants to have her butt scratched and her chest rubbed. She is a gentle, passive soul who likes being with people. She's also pretty smart, knowing some basic commands (sit, lay down & paw).




DeOGee is shy when she first meets cats and other dogs. She isn't aggressive, she just seems unsure of their intentions. If there is another dog in the household, it would be best if the dog was not hyper or very energetic.


DeOGee's foster family says she does fine with kids and cats!



DeOGee is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, just had a dental performed and had a full check up by our veterinarian.

Note: We ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from our kennel in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
