Schnauzer Mix: An adopted dog in Sharonville, OH

Hello, our names are Ruby and Jade, and we are 6 years old and cream colored. We are safe and happy in our new foster home, but it hasn't always been that way for us. We lived in an awful place called a puppy mill. It was not a nice place. One day the humans decided they didn't want us anymore so they gave us to SRC. That was the day our lives began! We are sisters and have been together all of our lives, and we hope to stay together, if possible. We have lots of foster brothers and sisters to play with in our foster home, and we like them but dont play much with them. We are crate trained and housebroken. We are still learning how to walk with a leash, and we will always need patience and encouragement to do that. It's scary for us! We do like our big fenced in backyard, and we use the doggie door to go in and out. Our foster mom says that shows how smart we are!!!! Our foster mom thinks we should live in a house...

Our foster mom thinks we should live in a house without cats as we would probably want to chase them if they were inside. We are both shy but Ruby is the shyest. We are afraid when company comes to the house, and we will run and hide but we are getting better at that. Children scare us also but we never are mean or aggressive to the grandchildren that visit our foster home. We are always very happy, though, to see our foster parents when they come home, and we run to the door to greet them. When they talk to us, our tails wag real fast, and we smile at them. We are very loving and just desperately want to be petted as we never really knew what that was like before we got rescued, and we like it soooo much. We would love to have a forever home.
