If you are looking for a true companion, then Spencer is your boy. Spencer is a wonderful sweet boy, he has lots of energy but also likes to cuddle quietly by your side. He is truly committed to the one(s) who loves him. He loves to be petted, cuddled and kissed. He likes to lay beside you whether it be on a couch or in your bed.

Spencer pretty much does as he is told. He can sit, shake, jump up, all for a yummy treat, and he can run very fast. He will alert you when someone is at the door with a growl and bark which is bigger than he is, but his tail is wagging and he just wants you to say hello. This can be intimidating to someone who doesnt know him well enough that he means absolutely no harm. Spencer needs someone with a very gentle hand to help him overcome this. He can be shy upon first meeting but warms up very quickly and will follow you everywhere you go.
