Basset Hound/Australian Kelpie Mix: An adopted dog in New York, NY

Prissy is a beautiful black, tan and white Kelpie and Basset Hound mix girl approximately 9 months old and 40 pounds. She was found by her foster mommy along with her mom and siblings. She heard all this commotion and went out to investigate and coyotes were attacking the poor mama dog and her pups. Foster mommy Pris leapt in to action and saved this little family. Since then she has been caring for this brood. So we want to find a great home for this little survivor. Shes such a sweet girl and craves attention. Prissy is more heeler than basset in body shape. Shes going to be a stout girl when she matures. Shes loves to run with all the other dogs and gets along well with cats. She has lots of energy and is full of life and love. One of her favorite summertime things is to wade in a kiddy pool to cool off. She likes water.
