Basset Hound/Australian Kelpie Mix: An adopted dog in New York, NY

Chubby is a male black, tan and white Kelpie and Basset Hound mix boy. He is approximately 9 months old and weighs about 40 pounds. He was found by his foster mommy along with his mom and siblings. She heard all this commotion and went out to investigate and coyotes were attacking the poor mama dog and her pups. Foster mommy Pris leapt in to action and saved this little family. Since then she has been caring for this brood. So we want to find a great home for this little survivor. This is a boy who lives up to his name. Hes a hunk. He has a double chin and short stubby little legs. Chubby loves to get out and run with his brother and sister and all the other dogs at our place. He also ignores the outdoor cat who is usually lounging on the porch. His little short legs take him around the yard in a bobbing fashion. His belly almost drags the ground! Hes one of the first to the dinner bowl at night right behind his twin brother Low...

Hes crate trained and will use a puppy potty (plastic swimming pool with shavings in it). Hed make anyone a great life companion and is looking for a forever home. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. Chubby is currently in a foster home, but he cant wait to get a home to call his own.
